Cold Process Soap Making from Scratch

Want to know how to use the Cold process soap making method to create soap completely from scratch? Well, this class will explain you A to Z cold process soap making, so that you can create beautiful handmade soaps right in your kitchen. Oh, and don’t worry about your experience level, it really doesn’t matter. This class ranges from beginner to advance. So, whether you are a complete novice or a soap making pro stick around, have fun and may be you will learn something new about making soap at home. Class is hands-on and dress accordingly.

There is a $35 materials fee for this class, which will be collected by the presenter.

This course falls under the Personal, Social, Civic, and Environmental Responsibility Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs). 

Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Make soap from scratch using different types of soap bases, colors, scents, aromatherapy oils and essential oils.
• Make chemical free herbal and natural soaps.
• Locate and purchase soap making products.
• Make gift soaps, gift baskets and possibly start their own business.
