Class Description:
Writing is an essential skill that students need to master to be proficient in school. In addition to
being an effective writer, students also need to successfully communicate their ideas and
publish their works of art. In the Creative Publishing class, students will learn how to use Google
Sites, Adobe Sparks, and WeVideo to make a production out of their written work. Students will
be learning how to compile projects such as videos, presentations and website pages. They will
be learning tasks such as manipulating with images, links, and videos within the various
programs. Upon the completion of the course, students will gain knowledge in creating projects
that use text and various forms of graphics, audio, and video to communicate ideas.

Student Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
? Use a variety of age-appropriate technologies to communicate and exchange ideas
? Create projects that use text and various forms of graphics, audio, and video to
communicate ideas.

Student Expectations:
? Actively participate in class lessons
? Be respectful to teacher and classmates
? Complete homework that is assigned and be ready to share during class
